HTC one mini 2 - Mobile data stops and starts working again looks like device error

UPDTE: Thank you for the fast reply. It also happens on wifi.But less often. No didn't change the SIM card actually. I'm using an original sim card. Didn't cut it myself. I tested the sim card with Iphone 3gs using an adapter sim. And it worked fine.

Test scenario. Htc one mini 2 with upgrades installed. date of: 11.11.2014 . Using mobile data and web browser. So I start surfing and suddenly I receive no connection error from browser. Turn off mobile data and turn on again. And ta ta! it's working again.
I called the operator and HTC. They both say it's a device error.

Welcome to Android Central! Any connection issues on wi-fi? How about any problems with phone calls or text messaging? I wonder if a replacement SIM card might be helpful.
