General Rom question
Hello everyone. My name's Artur and i have a BQ aquaris 5 . The BQ aquaris is a "chinese" clone phone of a well known model called malata i90 (and many many many other names). I bought it november 2013 and it has decent specs (quad core 1 gb ram. mtk6589)
It got a kit kat 4.4.2 update last september but the company is taking its sweet time to resolve a few of the bugs it has , namely screen waking up awfull battery drain issues, etc.
I follow their instructions to the letter on how to update, even doing a hard reset (more than one at this point)but to no avail. Now.... this is a hard question to answer i guess, but what is the way to properly update this, i have a nagging feeling, after reading several posts here, that the culprit is the google play services update...... is there anyway i can properly install it?
