Messenger Failures...
Droid MAXX. Cannot fully explain how or why, but I'm hoping someone can shed some light or resolve my issue without a new SIM or hard reset. My Messenger app repeatedly crashes. If I do not use my phone for a period of time (idle in my pocket), and then send a text, that same text will send, however, it is never assigned a time stamp. My phone continually states the message is "Sending..." when I have already received an answer from the person I am sending to. Possible related info, the person I text most is my girlfriend and I have over 10k messages saved.
Also, this did not start happening until I inadvertently shut down my phone while deleting a thread I needed to save. I imagine that is the source of the problem, outside of the +10k texts my phone is holding onto.
Crashes especially when the thread I receive a text from is open.
Anyone have any ideas? About to just call Verizon...
