MY sim in mobile shows a red crossmark but it has detected the sim ?

i think this was caused because i hv rooted my phone and deleted in-built apps like phone dialer& messaging. my mobile is lava iris 503e and its 4.2.2 android

Welcome to Android Central! Does your mobile service work normally for both calls and mobile data? If so, then it probably didn't affect the actual SIM function. You're right--you might have deleted something that is causing this. I would look out for other system issues, since you could have deleted a system app that is important for some other crucial function.
