Suspicious Additions To My Contacts

Upon opening my contacts I discovered there has been 3 (No name) contacts added to my contacts that I did not create. When I click on them i get a string of jumbled characters or perhaps (code?)

It's been a while since I've opened my full contact list so I'm not sure when those entries were added.

Recently I received a text from a friend in my contacts who I'm sure has my number but, the text was a spam message sent from his Marcopolo app without his knowledge. Not sure if that is the culprit or not.

Any idea what might be going on here?

Looks sus to me.. Can you block these contacts?

Hmmm, I only see a delete button. No way to block them. This is the stock Android contacts for KK4.4.
