I attempted to root my Alcatel Idol X+ with KingRoot (bad decision, especially after 4 years of experience with my rooted Galaxy tab 2). It shows in AIDA64 rooted, but there is no app (i deleted it when it started fussing around and doing unwanted scans). I can't get access granted and thus cannot use a standard method to unroot. Now some apps think the phone is rooted and get stuck trying to get root permissions. The phone works fine, but I would like to clean the su binaries and other files that are stuck in /system/bin and xbin. Any help (with easy instructions) would be highly appreciated.
