Android Lollipop has ruined my Nexus 4. How do I fix/remove it?

I updated my Nexus for to 5.0 Lollipop last week and it has turned my phone into a laggy mess.

The issues I'm having include:
-Youtube and Facebook apps being unable to play video.
-Chrome closing and sending me back to the home screen within seconds of opening it up.
-Background image disappearing.
-App icons and widgets taking up to 30 seconds to load when I go to the home screen.
-General slowdown and lag.

I'm hating this and I have no idea what to do. Any help or advice on how to either delete the update and go back to Kitkat or just fix Lollipop would be hugely appreciated.

Before trying to go back to KitKat how about clearing the cache partition.

Or a factory reset.

I did both and it has done nothing to fix my problems. I'm just going to have to wait for an update whenever that happens.

Then you could flash the Android 4.4 image, or I would recommend just waiting for the next update.
