I just got my 5.0.1 OTA update (coming from KitKat). With the new white theme, buttons in dialog boxes are now unreadable. I assume that previously, by default, dialog box button background colors were gray so white text stands out against the gray background. Now with a white background the button text is invisible.

I noticed this in ES File Explorer when I downloaded a file. I have to lpng press a button so that the background color of the button changes to blue so I can see what I'm selecting.

Which version of ES File Explorer do you have? The current version is 3.2.3.1, which lists some Android 5.0 fixes. If you have an earlier version, maybe updating it will help.

For other apps, you may just have to wait until the developer releases an update for Lollipop.

Well that's not good. I would email the ES File Explorer developers and let them know about that issue.
