Edit: I figured out a way. In Nova Launcher settings go to Desktop, scroll to the bottom and expand Advanced, then select the Show Shadow check box. Not quite as nice looking but it works.

I upgraded my MotoX (2nd Gen) to Lollipop yesterday and I now have an annoying issue. I use a very light wallpaper, the the font color of the icons and items in the notification bar at the top are now all white for some reason. This obviously makes it really hard to read. Anyone know of a way to adjust that font color (I use Nova Launcher but haven't found anything there).
Can you adjust the icon color in the notification bar?-screenshot_2014-12-10-10-46-32.jpg

I haven't found a way. I also have a Moto X 2nd gen with Nova Launcher. If I put a white background, everything is washed out. If I use google's launcher, they place a soft grey gradient at the top and bottom so everything is visible. Nova doesn't do this hence the issue.
