Why is Lollipop OTA working on Nexus 7 2012 not 2013?

I have a Nexus 7 2012 which has Lollipop
5.0.2 but my Nexus 7 2013 has never had OTA option for any Lollipop upgrades.
Is there a problem owning 2 Nexus 7 devices where Google is concerned with OS upgrades?

I have the same problem. They updated my 2012 Nexus 7 yesterday to 5.0.2 but so far have not updated my 2013 Nexus 7 at all. Are they planning on up dating the 2013 versions anytime soon or is there a problem with that?

As I understand it, Lollipop completely messed up a lot of N7 2012's so they send out 5.0.2 to them first hoping to fix a lot of the problems.
I wasn't sent any of the first updates, thank goodness, and just got mine yesterday, but after reading about all of the problems I'm going to stick with kitkat. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. :)

For those still on 4.4.4, the Nexus 7 2013 5.0 OTA has stopped a while ago for bug fixes, as they just published a 5.0.2 update for it, just like they did with the 2012 N7. My N7 2012 just got the 5.0.2 update early this week and went straight from 4.4.4 to 5.0.2, no 5.0 was ever offered. They had stopped the 5.0 rollout on the 2012 some time ago so it could go directly to 0.2. The 2013 is on the same path.

Long story short, since the 0.2 update was just published the OTA isn't far off. Sit tight and we should all be on Lollipop by the end of Jan I suspect. My N7 2013 is still on 4.4.4 also, and just like my 2012, I expect it will never see 5.0, but go straight to 0.2. Be patient, it's coming.

I'm not all that thrilled with 5.0.2 on my 2012 Nexus 7 so far. My tablet seems to run slower for one thing and I have to do extra taps on some things to get them to work which I didn't have to do with Kit Kat before. For instance I used to only have to tap twice to turn on my wifi on this tablet, but now it takes 3 taps. Just small things like that which are a little annoying.

Does anyone know how I can get rid of this lollipop and get back to 4.4.4 again without losing my apps or data, etc.? 😦
