My HTC One M8 recently got the Lollipop update. Since then, app photos keep getting automatically added to the Gallery. Not Facebook photos.

I have a news app, I opened it, and it added every 'page' into the gallery, as different folders which makes it even harder to delete.

It seems to be apps that have been installed after the lollipop update. Hiding folders isn't really an option because it looks like it's going to keep happening.

Anyone had this issue before? It's really annoying and I can't find any help other than people just hiding the folder (People generally seem to only have this issue with Facebook photos)

Welcome to Android Central! It might be an issue with the app's Lollipop compatibility. Apps like that should be designed to add a ".nomedia" file to the directory with all of the images, so that they don't get added automatically to your Gallery's database. If you can find the directory using a file explorer app, you could add your own blank file titled ".nomedia", which should prevent the phone's Media Scanner from adding those images to the Gallery.
