Until the recent update to Lollipop on my HTC One (M7), the stock tasks app was integrated into the new (and current) Google Calendar app.
Since installing Lollipop, tasks no longer show up, despite being selected. Would anyone know why and how I could get them back on one screen?

Just looked at the Calendar app again and tasks for today are now showing but others for future days are not (and the did before the Lollipop update).
    Thanks
    Johnny

I have an s4, but encountered a similar problem, my undated tasks were not showing up.
In the calendar, I pressed the menu dropdown, selected 'agendas', then opened the calendar settings, selected 'filter by', and chose 'tasks'. All my tasks then appeared . . .

    This doesn't work.

All my calendar tasks are gone.
No matter how many settings I play with, they are all gone.

Are your tasks still visible in the web client?
