Out of curiosity, which chipset (615 or 801) would theoretically perform better on the 64-bit lollipop? In terms of speed, gaming performance, etc. Like, HTC One M8 and HTC One M8i (615). Interested in knowing. :):)

Technically, you should see a better gaming experience with the 615. However, that would also depend on the type of game you are playing and whether or not it's a very resource intensive application with high graphics. Further, the 615 should be able to maximize Lollipop in terms of overall performance, battery life, and smoothness as the chipset is 64 bit capable.

Additional information related to both chipsets can be found here: Snapdragon - 801 and Snapdragon - 615

Have heard quite a bit to the contrary. i have ordered a new phone with 615 chipset as (i hoped) a sidestep from my Nexus 5. This puts my mind to rest a little.
