Why han't I got the Lollipop upgrade on my Micromax Android One?

Not getting lollipop upgrade in micromax android one

Hi this is Athar! Am using Micromax canvas android one phone with kitkat 4.4.4. It has been announced android lollipop for this device many days before. But yet I have not got any notification or update for lollipop. Even 24hours my device is connected with WiFi. Since it has been announced that if you are connected with WiFi your chances of getting upgrade will much possible. But I haven't got the update.....what the hell is this????

Hi there,

IF there is indeed an updated version to your phone, it can take a few weeks for your device to get it, even when on WiFi. These updates are rolled out gradually and even if a certain region is getting the update, you may not see it all at once, even regions are sub-divided and rolled out gradually. If the update is really hitting this particular model, all you can do is wait for it. But again, it can take weeks sometimes.
