I'm wondering if there is a problem with Lollipop not playing well with 64-Bit processors. Sure it supports 64-Bit, but is it properly optimized to run it correctly. Seems all the flagships this year that run 64-Bit are having real battery issues, (S6, M9, GFlex2). I know Samsung is using their own Exynos, and the others are using Qualcomm, so could it be that with a future update on Google's end that battery life in these devices improve?

Samsung's main problem with LolliFlop is that Amoled screen power varies by color - white using the most, black using none. So if you put a glaringly white user interface on a device with an Amoled screen you shouldn't be surprised that it eats battery like a kid eats ice cream.

There are other problems, such as the memory leak in 5.0-5.0.2 (which also eats batteries for lunch), and who knows what yet-to-be-discovered bugs in 5.1.

I don't have a Lollipop device currently. I'm using an iPhone 6, but getting a new Android soon. Hopefully they can figure this out. Reading through this thread it seems that Lollipop isn't all it's cracked up to be.
