Nexus 7 5.0.2 update help

I have a nexus 7 and under the system info it says that update 5.0.2 is downloaded and verified click restart and install to complete update. When I do that it counts down to reboot and when it gets to 0 it just stays on that screen and does nothing. Current OS is 4.4.4

Google and download factory image for your model. Then try to update via fastboot.

Stick with 4.4.4 and ignore the 'update' if the OS works just fine for you. Not sure if there's a way to find and delete the downloaded (apparently corrupted) file - is it stored in the Download folder, I wonder? Eventually, 5.1 might show up, but again, lots of folks report they wish they never went to 5 - 5.x.x and/or have rolled back to 4.x.x
