SM-G900F firmware update in Australia
Hi all, I have recently bought a SM-G900F S5 off eBay only to realise it is a european model. When I go to software update it tries to go through AT&T and obviously we dont have this here in Australia.
I have tried a software update through Kies3 and it says its up to date however I am still on Kitkat 4.4.2 Is this because..
A. Lollipop is not yet available in Australia (which I find hard to believe)
B. It is available in Australia but it cant update because my phone is a European model and it cant contact the AT&T update servers
Is it safe to flash the firmware with a downloaded version via Odin and if so, which country firmware do I pick, as I do not know which country the current one is (possibly somewhere in Europe..is there anyway to confirm which country my firmware is?) Really would like to not kill my 1 week old phone...
