It has just been announced by AT&T & Verizon that Android Lollipop 5.0 is now available for many popular smartphones.

So, If you need to do anything important on the internet, better get it done tonight.
Tomorrow the entire internet may collapse from all the millions of posts to wireless phone forums.

People will be whining & crying about what doesn't work on their phone anymore: My weather app doesn't have the smiley face anymore, I can't find the 4,328 songs on my phone, my bluetooth stopped working, I can't connect to the internet.

Some people just like to be guinea pigs, excuse me, I meant early adopters.

The rollouts are in stages, and done mostly at night. While yes, the 5.0 update is for say, the M8, not every single M8 will get updated in the next 24 hours. More like the next 2-3 weeks.

I thought Kim Kardashian broke the internet, well I guess that was a fad, glad to see Android can REALLY break the internet.

Even April 15th can't break the internet, although it did break Quicken's server farm. (Even 9-11-01 had a minimal impact on the internet.)

I was forced to upgrade. Otherwise I wait as long as possible before upgrading.
