Widget Locker w/Lollipop

I've tried everything I can think of, but can't get rid of this issue. Using a Note 4 with L 5.0. Verizon visual voicemail.

Issue: If I press play on a voice mail, as soon as I hold the phone to my ear, instead of just sensing me and blanking the screen, it pops out to my lock screen and ceases playing the voicemail. I have to listen to them on speaker phone only.

I've traced it down to Widget Locker. If I remove widget locker then I can put the phone to my ear and listen to voicemail. Tried reinstalling, cleaning cache, cleaning data, etc etc. I'd like to keep Widget Locker so my screen will light up on notifications and it gives me 'tesla unread' counts on all my apps.

Anyone else notice this, maybe find a solution?

Widget Locker was last updated in December, 2013 and many of the recent comments indicate that it is not compatible with Android 5 Lollipop ( https://forums.androidcentral.com/e...d=com.teslacoilsw.widgetlocker&token=JjSRUZLD ).

Seems to me that it is time to move on...

I think your right, I've used it for so long it feels like a best friend lol
