How do I update a rooted Galaxy S4 Current 4.4.2?

Basically i had my device rooted so that it could be unlocked to any network is there anyway in which i can update my phone and not loose the root ? if so please help me out

I am not sure about the S4 but on most phone you can not get updates if you are rooted. You could unroot the device so you can get updates and then root it again.

You can't update most phones that have been rooted, even if you unroot them. (There are changes you can make when rooted, that stay changed when you unroot, that would brick the phone if you updated it.) You have to reflash the stock ROM to get it updated (and I don't think there's a root for Lollipop for the S4 yet, so if you update, you'll be running without root, and without any apps that require root).
