Had a few people with the same issue too :/
Can't even remember how it used to be, but I'm sure that the notifications used to appear on the notification banner for a second before bringing back the banner with the new notification symbol. Now when you get a text it goes through the whole thing, or it will stay on the banner for a few seconds, maybe 5 or 10?
Is there a way to shorten the time for this? I know its a small thing but it would make it easier when trying to see the time or trying to access the message.
Does it with p much any notification. Issue so far found on the Note 4 and S5 after upgrading to lollipop
