Change search provider on home screen

I'm currently contemplating a switch from Windows phone to Android and I'm considering the SGN5. I notice that touchwiz has a Google search bar on the home screen. I have 0 interest in using google services. Is there any way I can switch to a Bing search bar?

No, but there are ways to get rid of the Google widget, such as using a third party launcher.

For those not interested in Google, Android may not be a good long term fit.

Re: Change search provider on home screen

There is a Bing app, which I think has a search widget.

It is possible to have an Android experience with little to no Google, but it can be fraught with frustration, since Google services are so tightly integrated in Android. So I agree with Assassin Droid--this might not be a good long-term fit. Good luck!
