If i dont download lolipop 5.0 will it be available when 5.1 comes out?

I still have kitkat because I've heard 5.0.1 is horrible and battery draining
Kitkat is very smooth to me
If I don't download 5.0.1 now will it be available when 5.1.1 comes out

Nope, at least not directly from TMobile or Kies. Once an update is released, it replaces whatever update was previously available. As usual, you can root your device and flash any available ROMs with previous versions at your own risk.
