Is it possible to block calls from specific phone numbers with Android 5.1.1 ? (Without the use of a contact).

If not, is there a good third party app that allows for this function? I am not interested in creating a contact for the missions of robo-callers out there just to perform this simple task.

    Phone: Droid Turbo 2

Thanks for any information on how to simply drop calls coming from a particular number, without the use of a contact.

Open the phone icon, click More in the top right corner, Settings, Call Blocking, Block List, Add Phone Number. There's also a toggle for blocking Anonymous calls.

Thanks Gozirra, however there appears to be no 'Call Blocking' option. I only have 'General' and 'Calls' options. 'Call Blocking' is also not under either of those.

I'm sorry, I see them on mine, and I'm running 5.1.1 - may be that your carrier removed that feature.
