On a Sprint Galaxy S4, I have not been able to edit contacts for some time now.

Can't add phone numbers, can't change a contacts ringtone, etc.. At the same time, my ringtone rings so soft sometimes that I never hear it. Not sure it's the same issue but both are annoying.

Just glad I have a Party Rock -LMFAO as my ring tone...

Welcome.

Try a Cache Partition wipe. Safe Mode may also be worth trying. Also a Contacts Cache Clear.

No luck. I guess I should say that the changes I make in Contacts will not save. I click save and it does nothing. If I wait long enough, I do get a "Contacts isn't responding. Do you want to close it?"

Are you saving to the device or a Google account? And is your phone rooted?

Had to perform a factory default. Works now.
