I just bought an LG Sunset (L33L) phone, via Tracfone. This is my first 'smartphone'. I also have a Google account (NOT a Gmail account). I set up the phone to backup to my Google account, and it tells me when I last synced. It is also set to automatically restore this information. I can go to my Google account, and my Sunset phone is listed there.
But there is nowhere on my Google Account that can I find where the information that was backed up is stored, or how to manually retrieve it. Tracfone says I have to have a Gmail account, but the instructions from Tracfone and from LG don't say that.
There is also on my phone a LG Backup Service. I have not tried that, but it seems to back it up to internal storage on my phone, which seems not very secure.
This is all very confusing to me. Can someone give me some guidance. I don't want to get down the road and find that either nothing was backed up, or that I can't restore it.
