My Galaxy 4 Note completed an update overnight. I awoke to a notice that said, "Unfortunately UI has stopped." Looked at your suggestions here and tried them. Eventually I contacted my carrier and was informed that nothing could be done except replace my phone. This has put a major dent in my life as a professional educator. I want to make a formal complaint to the developers of Lollipop. Do they realize how serious this is?

Welcome to Android Central! What suggestions did you try? It would help for us to know, so that we don't suggest the same things. Have you already tried a cache partition wipe? Safe Mode? Bringing it to your local Best Buy and asking the Samsung rep to re-flash the firmware?

If you want to lodge a complaint, you should contact either Samsung or your carrier, since they both have a hand in modifying the base Android code in order to make it work right with the specific hardware and software on those phones.
