how to configure the pix now that i have an sd card

A few weeks ago I installed an SD card for the first time. Not very familiar with how all this works.

Now I have a folder called DCIM2 on the memory card. And I also have 12 pictures in the camera directory on the memory card. This is on top of the DCIM and Camera directories on my local drive.

Is there some way to see why my camera is saving to a diff directory? I'd like it to either save to DCIM2 or to the local camera folder, not something altogether different.

I'm running Lollipop on a Samsung S5.

Open the Camera, tap Settings, and look for the option for Default Save Location. If it's set to SD card, it will save to that DCIM2 directory, and if it's set to Internal/Phone Storage, it'll save to the DCIM directory on Internal Storage.
