Notifiication from nearby Shopping Centre/Mall - How to Stop this ?

I have a Moto G 2nd Gen, on Android 5.0.2.

Today, I was walking down the High Street in my local town.
As I came near the entrance to a large covered-in shopping centre,
up popped a notification inviting me to check out the layout/location
of the various shops in the centre.

I thought, oh for Pete's sake, and swiped away the notification.

How do I stop this kind of thing? I don't know what app, or part of the Android system,
that generated the notification.

Welcome to Android Central! That's most likely from the Google app. The next time you see that popup, open your Google app (i.e., Google Now) and see if it shows up as a card. If so, tap the 3-dot button associated with the card, and look for an option that says you're not interested in this.
