Why can i use google chrome but not connect to the Google play store or any google related app?

I am on a moto e and I just tried to factory reset because of the problem but I cant even setup my device because of it saying no internet connection even though I was able to go on this website without any problems

Welcome to the forums as a new member. Do you have a valid Google account? If so, can you log into it using a PC and the Google website? Do you have a phone carrier account that is active? Sorry, basic questions but you haven't provided a lot of info to help
