App labeled --- suddenly appeared in my system apps.

Can anyone tell me what this app is? It appeared at the top of my system apps list as --- version 0.8 on my Kyocera Hydro Shore running lollipop. I have never seen it before and my husband's phone(exact same) doesn't have it. There doesn't seem to be an option to disable or force stop it.

Welcome to Android Central! That's a little concerning, considering the permissions it has. Have you installed any apps outside of the Google Play Store? Or downloaded anything in response to a popup warning any time recently?

You may want to contact your carrier or Kyocera to see if they can give you more information.

I haven't downloaded anything outside of the Google play store nor have I gotten any popups. Thanks for your help. I will try your suggestions.
