Hi all, recently I've been running into a really weird problem.
Whenever my father's J3 2016 screen is off - it cuts the internet connection.
For example, if phone is sleeping (10 seconds, 30 or 1 minute doesn't matter), you don't receive notifications until you wake it up.
It happens only in WiFi. On mobile data, it works very well.
What this really could be and how this could be fixed? Anyone experienced this?
However, a temporary fix was to set DNS to Google's one and set static IP, it worked very well when I tried it in the beginning, now it's having same problem. Maybe ISP issue?
Some things to point:
wifi is set to NOT turn off when screen is off, not in power saving, excluded in android's battery optimizer, no doze (since it's lollipop), tried numerous apps to keep wifi running, etc.
