GS7 SD Card: Adopted & Portable Storage

I just pre-ordered a GS7. I plan to put a large SD card in it. Is it possible to split the card in two partitions and have one partition used for Adopted Storage and the other used for portable storage?

I've used Rerware MyBackup Pro to backup my data to SD card for years. If the GS7 ever goes South, the data stored using adopted storage will be lost but if it can be copied to portable storage, I can restore it.

Nope, it will be only as removable storage.

OK thanks. I kind of thought that was going to be the case but hoped maybe someone with more knowledge of the marshmallow system than me would know of a way.
