So I have my new phone for a while now but what I noticed is that when ever my phone is turned off or runs out of battery, the language is set back to dutch which irritates me.
Anyone know how to resolve this problem?
I am running on Android 6.0(Marshmellow) and is up to date as far as I know, and my phone is a UMI Touch

Welcome to Android Central! Is it only the language that resets, and no other settings?

Yes, it is only the language that gets reset.

Might be something specific to the firmware. Is there a reason why you power your phone down? This isn't really necessary. It's also not wise to allow the battery to run out on a regular basis, because this can ultimately decrease the lifespan of the battery. If you avoid these two issue, then your problem won't occur very frequently.
