I keep getting notifications telling me to update my phone to marshmallow. Ive had phones in the past where I updated them, and they weren't new models, and therefore, they didn't have enough space to support the update and then they slowed down drastically. I'd also like to know if there's anyway I could sift through and delete some misc. files in storage?

Hi, if you proceed with the download it will inform you if you don't have enough space for the update to run. Please register an account with us and head over to the Note 4 forums, they have plenty of tips and guides for the Note 4 on Marshmallow.
