Upgraded and now Note 4 Edge keeps asking for password instead of fingerprint.

I have been having an issue with the phone locking up occasionally (thank God for removable battery) or it stops then returns to the lock screen and insists on a password. If I swipe my fingerprint it says to enter a new password. This is making me crazy.

On many occasions when doing an update you will see issues like this. I would backup and do a factory restore. Start fresh and you should be good
