Added Google Voice, uninstalled but still getting texts in the Messages app

Why am I still receiving Google Voice texts in the Messages app? GV is uninstalled and when I navigate to accounts in settings, that Google account isn't listed yet I'm still getting messages from it.

You probably have to disconnect it from google.com/voice. There is a setting that forwards any texts to the GV number to your regular number. I would bet that's what is happening there.
