When using the 950xl, bluetooth in the car, if I got a text, it was read aloud to me. Is this replicated on Android? Is it a phone issue?

I don't have a Focus, but a 2016 fiesta. Do you have Sync?

Same. Really miss this Windows Phone feature. I thought the Motorola launcher had this feature but I don't own one so I'm not sure.

There's a couple things you can try. Under accessibility settings there is an option to read incoming messages. However, you cant reply with voice and it only works with the built in messaging app.

You can also say "OK google read me my last message" after you get a text. This will make google read you the last text that came in and allow you to reply with voice.

The option I'm using is the Drivemode app. It works just like Cortana in that it alerts you to the text, asks if you want it read, and then allows you to reply with voice. It works very well but the app has to be running in the background. You can set it to auto detect driving and turn on by itself.
