    Hi everyone,

Until a few days ago, Gmail and Google Maps worked perfectly on my phone, and could connect both on WiFi and through 4G.
And then suddenly, these two apps now only work through WiFi -- they fail to connect through 4G, even when all other apps connect to the network flawlessly.

    - All my software is up to date.
    - I use a OnePlus2, running OxygenOS 3.5.8 (Android 6.0.1).
    - I am far from having reached my monthly data limit.
    - I have tried force-stopping these apps, and deleting their cache & data.
    - I have rebooted my phone several times.
    - I have made sure no proxy or port information is set in my phone's Access Points settings.

Any ideas? Is this issue most likely to come from Google, my mobile provider, or my hardware? Or something else??

(One last thing: incidentally, this problem started in the middle of a long trek across the mountains, during which I kept my phone almost constantly on "Airplane" mode, to minimize battery depletion... AFAIK the phone didn't get wet or damaged in any way though. Could the Airplane mode have played some role in this?)

Welcome to Android Central! See what happens if you temporarily disable IPv6 in the APN settings (if possible).

Absolutely the same problem with the same phone OnePlus2. Looks like OS related problem
