    Special access option for 'send premium text message' not showing on J7 (android 6.0.1)

    Setting > Applications > Application Manager > More > Special access option (Not available in my mobile)

    and again

    Setting > Applications > Application Manager > More > Show system apps > Message service > Send premium text message option also not available in mobile

    I am not able to send any premium sms only, other incoming & outgoing sms on any network is working.

    Please check the issue and help me sir,

    Hi, I've noticed this in those settings on lot of Samsung phones but never seen it do anything, premium sms would already be in your carrier package .

    Problem with sending premium text message... for example... During Google Pay/others UPI account setup, for verification app sending SMS to bank, that doesn't work (failed). Otherwise incoming/outgoing sms is working on any network and I have enough balance to send any kind of messages.

    From what I know , premium text messaging have been a thing of the past since 2013 , carriers pretty much dont use this . If your experience that failed message for authentication I would try different message app or contact your carrier.

    I think Premium SMS is any kind of "short code" SMS (i.e., SMS sent from or to a 5 or 6 digit number, rather than a conventional 10 digit number), which is still used widely.

    @sfzonline, have you spoken to your carrier about this? Maybe there's a carrier-side switch for your account that's been turned off for some reason. Also, who is your carrier?

    I have already tried "Google Messages" app but having same issue... doesn't work.

    But my question is how can I have to enable the "Send premium text message" option in my phone?
    As other mobile with same model (J7-2015) and android (6.0.1) have this feature to enable/disable the "Send premium text message" option.

    Try contacting your carrier one more time maybe you have can get someone different , and check your plan/bill u see charges for this service?
