I didn't see anything about the Nexus 5 or 4 getting N. Anyone know if they are?

I believe that Google is considering it for the 5, but not I think for the 4.

No, though I believe there's a custom ROM.

Are they eligible devices for the beta program? Nope. The N4 is EOL and the N5 will continue to get security updates after MM. Just like N is the last version of Android the N6 will see, but will continue to get security updates for one year after N. Google announced this last year.

OK, but as I recall the Nexus 7 (2013) didn't get the M beta.
    Now it's got 6.0.1.

Google stated on numerous occasions that 2 years after device release is end of the road considering updates (security updates should go more).

Yeah I know they said that, and the n5 probably won't get n.

But still, as of right now, I don't think anyone can say "the n5 will not get n" as if it's a definitive answer.

I sure hope you're right, as I'm still proud owner of N5. If nothing else, N will surrely arrive via CyanogenMod.
