Android N 5GHz Support

Hi. I am running the current Android N beta on my Nexus 6P. There is no 2.4/5G toggle in the WiFi settings so how do I switch between the two different bands? Is it automatic? Marshmallow gives me the option, but Android N doesn't. BTW, I am on Project Fi. TIA

If whomever set up the WiFi network(s) put the same SSID on both 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks, it is possible they wanted the WiFi access point(s) to make that determination. I set my APs up, that way, and enable a feature called "band steering." That allows the APs to "steer" clients to the less-congested band at any point-in-time.
