Full text messages not showing?

I just updated to Nougat - since then any text message that is more than a page - rather than coming through as 2 (or more) texts i get a "view all" at the bottom of the message. Is there a way to turn that off or allow the full message to show?

Also waiting for this answer. My long messages always came as just that, a long message and now its shortened with a view all button. Its driving me crazy!

Seriously why do we have 3 or 4 extra clicks we have to do now just for texting. its absurd and I hate it. does anyone know how to fix this? I have to 1)open messages app 2) click the "write" icon 3)tap the search bar to bring up the key board 4)type the name for the recipient 5)scroll if there are duplicate contacts with the same name 6) select the contact 7)click the "compose button" 8)tap the message bar to bring up the keyboard. !!!What the heck!!!! HELP !!!!!
