I'm using a Galaxy S7 on Verizon and an annoying issue, continuing from before the Nougat 7 update, is in the stock messaging app there is no way to ignore read receipts. I can prevent sending the requests myself, but I can't ignore them from others and I'm constantly getting the receipt message in MMS context.
The Verizon messages app has an option to ignore all requests, but I hate the Verizon app, am I missing something with the standard messaging app? Is this setting buried somewhere else? I swear this setting existing some time ago in previous OS versions, but has been missing for a while.
