OK, find my device is a pretty solid feature. One BIG issue I see is the following. If anyone has advice on how I can remedy this, please let me know.
I am the main user for both of my children's devices. They have different google accounts I setup for them as the secondary, or "child" users. They don't have the ability to log onto the main user account on the devices, so I keep control of both phones. This "find my device" feature will only work with the main user is logged onto the device. In other words, when I log on to find a device or use any of the features above, the device cannot be found because I am not logged on, even though I am the rightful owner of both devices. Ugh. Seems like an oversight. If you have an OS that supports multiple user accounts, features like this should support that fact.
Can anyone suggest what I do from here when a kid loses their phone? I just want to be able to play a sound or wipe the device or whatever...
