Hi there I have a Galaxytab s2 8.0 and I know that the box states that you can only use upto 128gb card in it. However, i have seen some people on other forums suggesting that they can use 256gb card in it and it's fine as there is no actual limit on card size in android. Is this the case and can I use a bigger card than 128gb?

It's more on the 128GB is the highest tested. Any card would work as long as power delivery is enough to run the card, problem is suboptimal power delivery would cause the card to run slower than normal. For example, you might put a 256 class 10 card in the device, and there is enough power for it. But the power may not be enough to tun 256GB at class 10 speeds, just class 6.

I'm hardly an expert in this area. It seems the "authorized" cards are typically as big as what's readily available when they do their testing.

Hope much more power does a 256 card take vs a 128?
