Import from Outlook.com, company name is parsed into first, last

I just set up Outlook 2016 on a new laptop and have it syncing contacts and calendar to Outlook.com. Then I have my LG G5 with Android 7.0 set to sync contacts (and calendar) from the Exchange Server at outlook.com. All is well, except that for Company type contacts in Outlook (desktop) with no first and last name, but a company name, like "Delta Airlines", upon syncing with the Contact app, "Delta" is parsed into First name field, and "Airlines" is parsed into Last name field. I have my Contacts sorted by Last Name, so "Airlines Delta" shows up under the A's. If I delete the Last and First names from the contact record in the Android app, and leave the Organization name as "Delta Airlines", then it sorts and appears properly. Why is the import parsing an Organizational/Company name into Last and First name fields? Not necessary and bad form!

Note, the records are fine in the online Outllook.com Contact website - nothing in the First and Last name fields.
