Why is Adoptable Storage taking up all the data in my new SD Card?

Hi, I know Adoptable Storage is something a lot of Android users don't like hearing about however I like to use it to solve my problem.

I save a lot of art and put my own art on my tablet all the time, however the way the file system works is that it rewrites the date when ever a photo or file gets transferred over a drive, so I use adoptable storage to make my sd card and my internal storage to one drive so I do not have this problem.

However every-time I adopt my SD Card the device fills 100 gigs of nothing telling me I only have 20 gigs of remaining space left on the drive all together

My Device is the SM-T820 and the SD card I am using is SanDisk Extreme PLUS 128GB microSDXC UHS-I Card - SDSQXBG-128G-GN6MA

My SM-T820 IS ROOTED and running 7.0 Nougat

A visual aid for what I am talking about

^ Here it is telling me I only have 20 gigs available on a brand new device(nothing on it besides default android files)

^ However in the Storage Screen it shows I have a total of 150.1

This is a problem and not just a visual error because even if I fill those 20gigs my device will not let me download anything, it will tell me my device is full. I have tested this.

If anyone has insight I would be very appreciated, and yes I know Adoptable is not a very smart idea but it is what works for me, thank you.

Device: LG-H932
SD Card: Samsung microSDXC Evo Select 128GB

Have you found any solution yet?
