How many of you leave scanning on for Wifi? Does it take that much of a hit on battery?

I turn off all that stuff. unless you want more accurate location data for your social stuff, but then it'd make it that more accurate for authorities to track you. And data miners, and Google, and, every app. Plus it does eat more battery.

Thanks. I thought that too. My problem is that I have apps that apparently need this enabled to get your location, if not connected to a network via WiFi.
