In Android N, you could double tap to wake up phone and swipe up to unlock. Has anyone been able to do this with Android 0? I haven't yet.

I don't recall being able to double tap in Nougat without at least installing the AmbiTUner app. As for this O beta, I've only been able to tap it awake when the time appears in ambient display, and only then by sort of slapping the width of the clock numerals, not the little row of icons below them.

As far as the ambient display behavior, I'm glad they went with two taps versus just touching the screen. I used to unintentionally turn on the lockscreen a fair amount, now it requires a deliberate action.

Plus it allows for you to dismiss new notifications inside ambient display without having to fire up the full lockscreen.
